I'm afraid it's on its own, sink or swim. If it swims I have three options. 1. cut it down and let the other branch develop. 2.cut it into small bits and use the offsets that develop for grafting stock or3.graft something on the top. Decisions, decisions decisions will this whirlwind journey ever stop?

That's what happens when you set the starting price too high. First rule of Ebay set your start price low, attract more bidders which pushes the price up.

At last! High starting price gets its own come-uppance eh? Its reassuring to know there is commonsense out there!

Strange isn't it. Start too high and you get nothing, Start low and the bidding goes way past the price where nobody would bid. I've seen it with some of the habitat Copiapoas that have been flooding the market recently. A buy it now, with a hefty price tag, will sit idle while people bid up a similar plant from a low price to way past the buy it now price. Nowt so weird as folk ;)
