Re: Disgusting
Yeah... hope it doesn't! I have chives about an inch high. It's always at least April before they show themselves, I'm sure.
Happy carrier of Forby Disorder - an obsession with Euphorbia obesa.
NB. Anyone failing to provide a sensible name for me to address them will be called, or referred to, as Fred.

Is that 63 yrs young Roy
Lots of strange things in the greenhouse this winter, lot of crassulas seem to be repeat flowering, I have got quite a few cacti in bud. And yes my heater has hardly been on too. In fact it shows how mild it has been, I compact all my plants down into 1/2 the greenhouse to cut down on heating costs, there are some odd Echinopsis, Bromophyllyums and anomeiums that are weeds that I left totaly unprotected in the back half all seem quit happy and the Bromophyllyums are flowing.

Hehe, Bill... if you desperately wanted the weeds to live, and they were your most prized plants... they'd be going all squidgy.

The Echinopsis are the worst bits of a clump of white flowering one that I split up and the Aeoniums were the result of seed sowing experiment (lesson learnt don't sow seeds of the most commonest plants )

Re: Disgusting
Hi Tina & Stephen,
thank you.
Hi Ian,
no I'm not quite into the 64 next year routine but I am at a very funny age.I'm young enough to remember that ladies can excite you but old enough to have forgotten why!
Hi Phil,
do I detect a kindred spirit? I quite like Aeoniums if you look around there are some quite varied forms. I think the last one I picked up was a smithii which used to be very common but,at least in this area, does not seem to be now.Unfortunately one is sending up a flower spike so that will be the end of that shortly.
Hi Bill,
yes things are not quite as dormant as they should be I hope it does not give us a poor flowering year. I was hoping for a good year due to that glourious July sunshine
thank you.
