Ian,

I may have been better to put the poll on the forum as that would stop people voting more than once as they have to be logged to vote (a setting).

Thanks Ian - not suggesting we activate them - just interested. As you have said - this forum has a lot of unused functionality.

best regards

Hi Chris,

As far as I'm concerned it's not just this Forum that has unused functionality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Phil,

Yes indeed.

I gave the Forum a good plug at last Saturday's F&GP committee meeting.

Following on from that, Tony's survey should provide some data on at least one aspect of the Forum's usefulness, namely bringing in new members.
Cheers,
Colin

Voted. It will be interesting to see the results. Lets just hope it gets something near the claimed 600 registered users otherwise the statistics could be used against those seeking more funding.

Hi Roy,

An issue here is the seemingly large number of lurkers who don't come out from under their shells and contribute!!

Any suggestions for enticing them out?
Cheers,
Colin

Ian,

All the boards I have installed and adminstered for people have had an admin facility to email all members. I assume there is this facility at the top admin level so can you use it to email members to add to the vote.
Just a suggestion.
