Sorry, no you're wrong. This is wonderful and probably medicinally beneficial aloe sap. Did you try the sap on any wounds you produced during the dissection when the odd finger might have got between the plant and scapel??!!

These vertical sections are excellent, but don't show us what makes this aloe a senocot.
For this we need a cross section through a stem. Have you got the odd tree aloe you'd please care to chop down and dissect?

Well here's a section where I think a new shoot is developing off the main stem. The cells are very small and it is a bit of a problem getting this material thin enough
