May I be so bold as to suggest using the website http://theplantlist.org which is a huge working list of all genera of plants with links to all known accepted names and synonyms it is a colabaroation between many botanical organisations and among other things has heard of your Micropterum schlechtii and knows it's a synonym of Cleretum papulosum subsp. schlechteri

Yes, I think that for anyone donating the seed, a quick double-check of the correct name has to be worth the effort. Chris shouldn't be having to do this, though.

Thanks Phil, it would be nice if it were checked before I got it.
The website that Carl has suggested is quite user friendly so it may not take much time - well, zero time at the moment!

I'm away until after ELK, back 12th September. I'll process any requests then in date order.

Please note that the seed list is not updated as I have moved house, and BT will not provide me with internet until 5/1/2017, which is 5 weeks without. My desktop PC, upon which I have all the upload software to modify and upload changes to the list doesn't have wifi, and relies upon Ethernet. My laptop is limited, and I only have occasional access when I can find a suitable hotspot.

My new postal address is: 42A Lower Icknield Way, Chinnor, OX39 4EB, UK

Happy Christmas

Finally I am back online, and have two orders to prepare from before Xmas, so should be back in action properly after the weekend.

Hi,

New to the forum, only joined yesterday and paid for my yearly membership fee. Once I've recieved my membership number I'll be interested in ordering from the seed pool. :)

Hi Sean, welcome to the soc. and the forum. As you have joined the soc. they will send you a welcome pack which amongst other things used to contain a few ( half a dozen ?) packs of seeds. You may even recieve last month's journal which contained the 'official' seed list, almost three hunderd species at the bargain price of 30p per pack.
Regards Keith.
