Another clump. Almost looks like a rock garden. You can see the pinkish tinge to the spines in this shot.

Another Opuntioid, Austrocylindropuntia weingartiana. Looks like we just missed out on the flowers again.

This was a nice clump in full bud, with Parodia maassii in the background at the base of a shrub for added protection.

Great to see habitat pics of Yavia cryptocarpa. My plant growing on it's own roots flowered last week for the first time, unfortunately the event took place while I was at work. Strangely my two other plants which are both grafted have have yet to produce flowers even though they are several years older and growing well.

A couple more Opuntioids from this site. I think I'll leave them as Maihueniopsis Sp. I suspect this one was called ferocior at the time.

There were some wonderful Oreocerei at this site. So photogenic. I spent ages trying to get photographs against the best possible background. Oreocereus celsianus.

Another one. Yes I'm afraid you are going to get a few of these, because they so pretty.

Some close ups now. Astonishing plants. No Llamas were harmed in the taking of these photos. ;)
