Expedition on Rosyntjiesberge

Post by FlorentG »

Hi !

I just made a little report on our last expedition in south africa, focusing on the 3 days we spend in the remote region of the Rosyntjiesberge (Richtersveld). Many pictures show how diverse and unique the succulent flora on those mountains is.

Enjoy !

Florent, I so appreciate your letting us into your expedition journal. It's a little bit like being there by your camera eyes. Thank you so much. It's so interesting and breathtaking.

Remarkable as usual Florent! (tu)

I always enjoy your travelogue reports from SA.
I say, nothing can beat the habitat pictures. The Rosyntjieberge sure must be a magnificent place to visit.
At first sight it looks so unhospitably barren, harsh and remote, but there's, it seems, plenty of plant life still to discover.

Don't be so modest, more othonna & conophytum pictures please!

Thanks.

Florent, what a wonderful expedition you had! Your beautiful pics depict the plants and landscape so well. And quite a dangerous trip too, had either of you had a fall...

Thanks so much for sharing, we are all very grateful!

Ever hopeful, trying to grow plants from arid sunny climates in the UK!
Lithops, Haworthia, Adromischus, other south African succulents including Ceropegia and some Crassula.
