The second stop on our tour was to see Echinomastus johnsonii and some Opuntiads we hadn't seen yet. So down yet another several dusty, washboard dirt roads... 8) Well, we saw so many johnsonii they almost became boring ;) Quite a few seedlings too.

Its hard to believe that these plants can survive in such conditions. Brillant pictures.

I loved the pictures! And, yes the Echinomastus johnsonii nearly got boring. Amazing colour variation of the spines. Looks like a place well worth a visit.
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.
