My first in habitat picture of cacti; Peru & Ecuador

Post by sechjoh »

After 24 hour travelling I ended up in South America :)

And 6 plain rides, several bus rides and couple of boat rides later I ended up here...
Where am I?
Where am I?
Who recognise this place? :)

Well, it is Galapagos

We landed on Floreana and took a walk the morning after...

A nice view from the beach, and some cacti in the horizon :)

Thanks, Jens.

No, I didn't have a chance to see any Brachycereus nesioticus. The are only on some islands as pioneer plants and we couldn't visit one of them  But I have more pictures of cacti :) I have some that I need ID for from an island in lake Titicaca

Thank you Ross.

All of the trip took 15 days and we visit Lima, Cusco, Puno, Quito and 4 islands of Galapagos. We had a nice trip with perfect weather (tu)

I have 12 X 8Gb of flash memory with pictures to edit now :geek:
