Re: Melbourne Botanic Garden
The last of the Melbourne Botanic Garden succulents. This might be Aeonium 'Velour'.
More than just plants to see.
And to finish, a couple of shots showing the Melbourne city skyline beyond the Gardens
All in all, very well worth a visit if you're in Melbourne. As with all Botanic Gardens, there were plants frustratingly lacking labels. Most labels seemed to be correct, as far as I could tell, though a few clearly wrong. Entry is free, it's easy to walk to from the city centre.Mike T

Re: Melbourne Botanic Garden
Nice to see some pictures of somewhere I am unlikely to visit. Thanks for that.
Your 'yucca' is a variegated Beschorneria, probably B. yuccoides 'Flamingo Glow'

Re: Melbourne Botanic Garden
Some nice reminders there, Thierry
I don't think I saw the sculpture in your 4th photo. Looked like swans at first, but is it coconuts sprouting?
Guilfoyle's volcano planting has certainly come on a lot since 2009. It was encouraging to have an eye catching feature of succulent plants, all looking healthy and in good condition. Pity you only had a construction site to see.

Re: Melbourne Botanic Garden
Hello Mike,
I think it was coconut sproutings!
And thank you for having given me a chance to see the volcano site with plants!!!
I went also to the Adelaide' BG (with its beautiful greenhouse) and the Brisbane's BG (but the last one was partially opened to public due to a huge live event!! )
