A week in Gran Canaria

I just had the pleasure of a week in Gran Canaria. The weather was warm and sunny, just a couple of heavy bursts of rain and half a day's wind and I had a good look round the island and saw some impressive scenery and lots of Canary nativeplants and rather too many non-native plants. Here is a selection.

: The interior, mainly rugged mountains

: The almond trees were in full bloom and full of bees

The sky really was that blue and I hope you enjoyed a few views of Gran Canaria and the wonderful plants that are there

A very interesting set of photos Liz, thanks for posting. The Aeoniums look lovely and so does the sunshine!
