Arizona Visit

Hi Chris, I thoroughly enjoyed the Desert Botanical gardens a magical place, so well laid out and maintained.

Hi Vic, We spent a couple of days in the Phoenix area and travelled north to the Grand Canyon, Brice Canyon, Zion Canyon and Monument Valley. We then travelled west accross to Las Vegas. Not cacti all the way but still managed to see lots. More pics to follow!

Hi Maria, The Saguaro is without question a magnificent plant and its not until you see them as naturally growing mature plants that you can appreciate their size.

I nice example of Agave macroacantha.

A fantastic clump of Mammillaria geminispina.

[phil]

Corypantha recurvata.

[phil]

A very nice Ferocactus wislizenii with fruitts forming and more flowers to come.

A rather fine Pachypodium growing with some shade.
