I was in Nice last week and took the opportunity to visit the Jardin Exotique in Monaco. Lots of Cactii, Euphorbias and others. Some pics follow. This fellow was about a foot across:

Re: A visit to Monaco
Hi Tony, Very nice (tu)some of those Echinocactus grusonii look quite small to be flowering don't they. Just shows what a difference plenty of warm sunshine makes.

Re: A visit to Monaco
First two days were lovely, and Monacoc was nice and warm (19C). Then it went off a bit, down to 15C and cloudy. That was the weekend it went really cold here (16 - 21 March).

Re: A visit to Monaco
Hi Tony,
Any chance please of better pics of the succulent senocots (aka monocots: aloes and agaves) behind the cactus, that's rather getting in the way of the view of the better plants?:)
