If you ask me it's more impressive than the mermaid they make all the fuss about over there.

Tending more towards cacti , particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!

It looks like the plant generally labelled A. titanota. Somebody told me once that it isn't the real titanota (don't know who, maybe Paul in Essex/Spracklin)

Thanks for that. I have a plant labelled titanota which at the moment doesn't look too similar - but it's still young and agaves seem to be very different in their juvenile and adult phases.
