RHS Hyde Hall Gardens, August 2011
RHS Hyde Hall Gardens, August 2011
BCSS Zone 15 will hold their annual competitive Zone Show over the weekend of Sat/Sun 13/14 July 2019 at RHS Hyde Hall gardens near Chelmsford, Essex CM3 8ET: http://www.zone15.bcss.org.uk/zoneshow.html.

As well as impressive cacti & succulents on show, there will be plants for sale along with expert advice from experienced growers: https://www.rhs.org.uk/gardens/hyde-hal ... 2&ESRC=CMS.

It was announced at our our AGM that this year, BCSS members will be allowed FREE entry to the extensive gardens upon production of their membership cards. Can someone please confirm this excellent opportunity?

Best wishes,
Derek Tribble

Yes, free entry on the show days if you can show a membership card, for the holder only not family or friends.

Not sure I ever had one of those, mind you?

Well, that just shows how much my memory has deteriorated. It is safely tucked away in my wallet.

Nurse?....

A quick mention that Creephedge Lane - the road running past the entrance - is currently closed to the north of Hyde Hall whilst they replace the water main with a series of rather confusing diversion signs. But you can access the entrance from the A132 south end of Creephedge lane, despite the signs saying road closed (the sign saying access to Hyde Hall is almost invisible!).
