Hi all
Just to correct my previous mention. Colin Walker will be giving his NEW 'Agaves through the ages' talk tonight at the OXFORD branch.
This is a new digital presentation specially prepared for a talk he has been commissioned to present in Australia at the Cacticon convention in Sydney 1st-4th Oct.

Hi Joel
I know it will be a good talk as I help Colin with the presentations (he's not very good with photoshop), he will turn up with ancient images complete with a fold in the middle & age spots- it's always a good challenge & he treats me well with cream cakes & real coffee.
The presentation is very good & we have some trendy animations too, although he won't let me add sound effects.
I'm sure people seeing it will enjoy it.

Re: AGAVE TALK TONIGHT
Hi Tina,
The talk seemed to go well, although my timing needs to be adjusted. In Australia I'm supposed to talk for two 45 min. slots, and last night I certainly over ran on that, so maybe need to cut out a few images.
You need to find out what the Oxford crowd thought of it though - I'm hardly the one to give an unbiased view as to how brilliant or otherwise I was.

Hi Gillian,
Thanks for the feedback. I'm suitably pleased that it was so well received.
