Despite set-backs. we are holding our annual cactus show at the same venue as last year. Our show secretary has broken his hand and cannot write, but members have rallied around and volunteered to take over the large amount of work that Chris Backhouse usaually does!
All are welcome at the Scout & Guide Huts, Hatch End, HA5 4PH, a short walk from Hatch End station. As usual there will be teas & refreshments, a tombola, members' plant sales and lots of cacti & succulents to see. Come along between 11:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and vote for the "People's Choice" award.
It is an open show for all BCSS members and new exhibitors wil be most welcome. The schedule can be downloaded from our website: http://www.mycacti.info/
Best wishes,
Derek Tribble,
