Just a reminder that the Sussex Zone Show takes place this weekend at South Downs Nurseries, Brighton Road (A273), Hassocks, West Sussex, BN6 9LY. Tony Roberts is judging the 230 entries and there will be plant sales, a tombola and cultivation demonstrations in the foyer.
The venue is an excellent garden centre well worth a visit in its own right, with a pets and aquatics department, a fascinating Heritage Centre and a coffee shop. There are also butchers' and green grocers' market stalls this Saturday.

Hi Derek
Tony is absolutely right about the times (thank you, m'lud). Essentially, we open when the garden centre opens and pack up in time for the staff to leave at closing time.
Graham.

Re: Sussex Zone Show - This Weekend
A big thank you to Graham and everyone involved in organising today's show. A very enjoyable day and I was pleased with my first time showing, first and second in the novice classes (so a piece of silver to polish for the next year!) and third in the Aloe class.
Looking forward to next year!

Re: Sussex Zone Show - This Weekend
Thanks, Vicky, it was really nice to meet you and Chris (you are clearly very capable propagators from seed). The show was the result of the combined efforts of a number of people, not the least whom were the exhibitors such as you who supported us. Hopefully, next year will be even better!
Thanks also to Tony R, who was an excellent judge (as always) and congratulations to forumite Geoff Lovell, who scored the highest number of overall points.
Special thanks to Tony & Suzanne Mace, without whose support and guidance the Show would not have happened.
