Just a quick reminder that Sheffield branch will be hosting its 60th annual show at the end of this month. We now hold an open show and there's still time to get an entry form. See sheffield.bcss.org.uk/contact.html for the contact details of our branch secretary.
Previous years have seen a good number of high quality entries and plenty of interesting sales plants at bargain prices.
Saturday 30th May and Sunday 31st May.
Venue: The classroom in the gardens.
Sheffield Botanic Gardens. (Thompson Rd entrance just off Ecclesall Rd).

Re: Sheffield branch 60th annual show May 30th & 31st.
May be a silly question but, between what times can I come and have a look around as a visitor ? I'd be coming from Manchester so just want to make sure that I don't come at the wrong time.
Is there an entry fee ?

Not a silly question at all, I wondered the same myself, & is there easy parking?

The show's open 12md to 5pm Saturday, and 10am to 4pm Sunday. Plant sales will be open earlier on the Saturday - usually from around 10am.
On street parking around the gardens has some restrictions (residents only on some streets) or is pay and display. The show is nearer the Thompson Road entrance than the Clarkehouse Road entrance. Type Sheffield Botanical Gardens into Google Maps, or Thomson Road S11 8RB, or go here
Entry to the Gardens and the Show is free
