Southend-on-Sea Branch is sad to announce the death of Roger Mackie. Roger was our longest serving member. He held various positions in the branch over the years including - Show Manager, Treasurer, Zone Rep and Vice Chairman, His business career meant that he at times lived in other parts of the country and so he was a member of a number of other branches including Bradford, Birmingham and Glasgow.
The Society awarded Roger its Diploma of Merit and the Robert Holt Meritorious Award
His funeral is on 11th November in Southend
