They are visible if Javascript is disabled. I wonder if it has to do with the two equal sign (==) in the URL? They are not allowed characters and should have been encoded. Maybe Firefox interprets them in a more forgiving way than the resizing Javascript functions? (I'm guessing now ...)

As I wrote they are visible now, but much smaller. I don't think it was the size of the pictures that caused the trouble, the JS functions are still called. It would have been interesting to see the results if the the "==" had been replaced with "%3D%3D" (the correct encoding) in the original links. If they had become visible then it would have strengthened my hypothesis considerably.
