Hello cactuslovers

Post by snarfie »

Hello everyone, my name is frans, currently 17 years old and i've been growing cacti and succulents for 8 years, got interested in c&s when i was 7, because a leaf of a schlum fell off, and rooted and ended up as a new plant. I was really fascinated by that, and that's how it all started. I am currently learning how to graft, and i also do a lot of experiments with and think about cacti. Got some chimera cacti but also a lot of 'normal' cacti and succulents.

Is it standard that every post needs to be approved as a non bcss-member, or does it eventually disappear?

Eventually... after 10 by default. Only our administrator, Bill, can waive this - I'll ask if he'll 'free' you.

Hi Frans. Welcome. It's great you're so interested in cacti/succulents at your age. I'm delighted you have a Tephrocactus geometricus. This is one plant I'm looking out for, having seen some lovely photos.
