Hi, my name is Roberto. Back in Spain I was already a plants lover, but regarding cactus or succulents I only had very random ones.
I've been in England 3 1/2 years, but it was when I met my partner, who gave me a Cereus (unknowledging my passion for plants) that I started getting more and more of these beauties. Now I have a fair collection of them and thought that it would be a good idea to join this forum.

In Norway, presenting a cactus as a gift to someone (outside of the cactophile part of society) is a bit of a negative thing, somewhat the opposite of presenting someone with a bouquet of roses. I always hold this against my fellow countrymen. I suppose your partner isn't Norwegian, though?
