I just joined the society after retiring down to the south coast and wanting to try my hand at growing cacti from seed again. I was a member around 25 years ago but work commitments meant my collection faded.
I don't have a greenhouse here so it's going to have to be windowsill cultivation but we'll see what happens.
I've bought a heated propagator with a variable thermostat and that is currently housing some palm and banana seeds as an experiment.
I will sow the seeds that came with my Welcome Pack later this morning so hopefully we are up and running

Hi Ken, welcome to the Forum, I hope your seeds do well. I'm sure you will soon get along to your local branch where you will find plenty of encouragement and information. Good luck.
