Introduction from North America

Post by CaliJeff »

Hi Everyone,

I came across this forum while searching for some of my favorite succulent species, Aloes!

You could call me a hobbyist and nowhere close to a professional grower of cactus and succulents. I grow a majority of my plants is a small shade-house behind the house. Due to our very warm (hot) summers most of my young potted plants can quickly overheat and stunt their growth for an entire season - hence the shade house.

I'm looking forward to learn as much as possible from all the experience growers on this forum. Glad to be here!

Hi CaliJef, welcome to the forum. I like the look of the shade house, unfortunately we have the opposite problem here...not enough sun due to Derbyshire weather and a neighbour's huge willow tree.
Cheers
Gary
