I'm Andrew and I have just joined the BCSS after lurking on the forum for a couple of weeks. I ahve a modest collection acquired from local garden centres and super markets, so of course no names. Here are a few pictures:

I expect my collection will grow in the next few months and I am looking forward to sowing the seeds that came with my membership pack. And hopefully learning to identify my plants

Welcome to the forum you are not far from hull that has some good growers and a good branch if you can get to the meetings
You don't have to be a member to go to a meeting and see what you think

I think you'll find both York branch and Leeds branch most welcoming. They have both welcomed me. I live within easy reach of both and attend both but I am on the postal list of Leeds. Leeds has put together a most interesting list of meetings for next year and York is finalising its schedule. Leeds won't meet again until next year but York does have a meeting in November. It is worth contacting both branch secretaries for the prospectuses. Peter Smith in Leeds and John Galvin in York. The zone 3 page gives you access to the contact details.
I think you will find you will learn a lot from the knowledgeable folk at either ..... and I have found that they are most generous in their help.
