New member from Bedfordshire

Post by Hamant »

Hi,

My name is Hamant (Ham for short - yes I’ve probably heard any jokes you could come up with )
I’m new to the world of succulents, and am enjoying learning about them. I currently only have an ailing Agave Neomexicana which I am trying to rescue, but plan to get more for the garden this year. Here’s a pic of my Agave when it was at full health.

Regards,

Ham

Welcome to the forum.
Indeed it looks a fine plant .... and no doubt will be joined with many others.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Growing a mixed collection of cacti & other succulents; mainly smaller species with a current emphasis on lithops & conophytum.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
I will indeed be looking for my next agave very soon. I’m hoping to find a decent Agave victoriae-reginae. I love the look of those.

We started growing some from seed last year, they're still very tiny.
