Hello from Wiltshire

Post by JeanJ74 »

Hello BCSS members
I have a small interest in mainly Schlumbergeras & Haworthia truncata, maughanii & cooperi. This interest in cacti & succulents has been with me for decades but has usually been determined by lack of space. I used to grow Lithops & have grown them from seed but due to a move of county I had to give most of my collections away & now limit myself in plant numbers.

I hope that I can share info. with like minded people.

Welcome to the Forum Jean (good name!) I'm sure you will find plenty to interest you here, and advice if you need it. Suggest you try to go along to your local branch meetings or some nearby shows. Enjoy your plants. Best wishes, Jean.

Welcome Jean.
The forum can be lively but always with help and advice freely available.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Many thanks for the welcome. I go to Branch meetings & local shows with my husband (who is the driver). Have been a member of BCSS since end of 2017. Wilts. Branch members are a welcoming & lively group of folk.
