A couple of entries first a sort of serious one. Sulcorebutia rauschii 'golden spined form' photographed with a Panasonic G1 with an adapter to use a Canon 135mm F2.8 FD lens with a Raynox DCR-250 8 diopter macro lens clipped to the front. Taken in available light, a single frame, no stacking of images.

Now a slightly tongue in cheek one. Flies on a Pediocactus knowltonii. I reminds me of one of of those mind bending MC Escher pictures. This is not a Photoshop job, photographed as it was seen with a Panasonic G1 with a Canon FD adapter and Canon 50mm F3.5 macro lens.
