Good contest.
Tough one for me, many wild spined species are quite hard to photograph, so I gave up on my Lobivia wrightiana snaps.
Hard to choose too. Since Bill has not said one photo per contestant I will upload several.

I got a reply to my E-mail about the Gymnocalycium and the owner tells me he calls it Gymnocalycium megalothelos. He got it from John Henshaw of Croston Cactus, so he is to blame if the name is wrong. However Malcolm did say he thought it was like a more spidery spined form of G denudatum, so you can take your choice.
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.
