Gorgeous plant Jens. I was just reading about this plant in an old journal, when it was called Digiostigma. Fascinating!

Yes I really like its expressively bent tubercules too. But this one is grafted as a matter of fact- don´t really like that.
But last year it produced a seed pod and some germinated- lets see what comes out there in the end...it has tubercules at least...

The credit for this hybrid goes to Frank Trigg, who raises many Superkabuto hybrids. It was bought 3 years ago, along with a few others, and looks as if it has A. capricorne genes in there somewhere!

This is not my plant, although I took the photo, but belongs to David in my branch, it is so beautiful I thought I would share it with you.
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.

Astrophytum asterias, always has rewarding flowers which compliment the plant body.
