Hello, December is the right time to come up with something you made to give it away just for the joy of it.
Use any material or technique you like to make a comment on our favorite subject: Cacti and Succulents.
Edit: To make this a little less vague- I thought it might be fun to see pictures of cacti /succulents which are alittle more hand crafted than just plain photographs. So anyone may feel free to use the technique or material that seems handy. Examples might be a pen /pencil/water colour drawing on paper, Quilting of a cactus picture on cloth, Digital remodelling of a photo using a computer programe or even sculpturing a succulent with any material or decorate a miniature plant environment to create a new scene.
I hope this is not too off topic for a cactus picture contest.
Have fun

Re: December 2011 Photo Competition - Creative Cacti
Great idea
I wonder though... would you consider editing your title, to read "Creative Cacti (and/or other succulents)" ? Otherwise some members might not read it

Ever hopeful, trying to grow plants from arid sunny climates in the UK!
Lithops, Haworthia, Adromischus, other south African succulents including Ceropegia and some Crassula.

Thanks Lindsey, but I´m afraid the topic line won´t take much more letters than the edited one.

Hello, when clicking on discussion forum, the headline of monthly photo competiton still says : November subject is Astrophythum. Is there a way to change it to the December topic ?

This seems to be a tough one to get started here. But looking at the previous contest entries I know for sure there are many people with high creative potential in here.

There is a striking and somewhat worrying similarity between Astrolemur and Lindsey
