Great start to this month's competition. Good colour and lovely photo. Obviously Madrid is having better weather than we are!

Spotted this Notocactus scopa enjoying the glorious sunshine whilst on holiday in Wales last year at Bodnant Gardens. I'm hoping that cacti are included under the succulent "umbrella"........Sorry. :lol: :shock:

Have a large balanced collection of both cacti and succulents but enjoy growing cristate, monstrose and generally anything a bit weird!

Can you clarify eligibility. Does the title mean only plants flowering in the sun at the moment (eg winter flowering succulents in the UK) or flowers brought out by full sun at any time during the year for the UK, including cacti?
