The various "Cloford" colour charts (links across the top of their page) are an excellent resource for website developers too and not just us plant lovers.

And a lot of them are rubbish at red - I think we see slightly beyond the visible spectrum in a way that cameras can't.

Not that long ago I spent £100's on a Nikon D90 SLR that was rubbish with red & purple. It cost me, but soon got traded in.... :roll:

Cactophile since Childhood (infected by Mother.) 400+ collection of all sorts but currently into Asclepidaceae. As my Dad would put it, I like anything wierd and wonderful.
