The various "Cloford" colour charts (links across the top of their page) are an excellent resource for website developers too and not just us plant lovers.
It makes my Avatar purple too ?!

Somewhere close to the centre there must be purple?

And a lot of them are rubbish at red - I think we see slightly beyond the visible spectrum in a way that cameras can't.

Not that long ago I spent £100's on a Nikon D90 SLR that was rubbish with red & purple. It cost me, but soon got traded in....
