Re: October 2012-Ariocarpus wild and captive
Hi all
Here's one of my Ariocarpus, came unlabeled & a friend suggested a.furfuraceus cv magnificus but I'm not sure- actually I'm pants with Ario ID, I think I've had it 3 or 4 years.
I was surprised how well it's grown & only noticed when I had to move all the plants on the top shelf when I was bubble wrapping the G/H the other day, it's outgrown it's 6" pot as the gravel is falling over the edge so will need a repot when I have time.

Re: October 2012-Ariocarpus wild and captive
My least favourite Ariocarpus species. This plant came as a gift on an order from a UK nursery (not sure if it's OK to name it, but I have a lot to praise them for) and has found a place in my heart. This is a picture from last year, it hasn't flowered this year (yet).

I have asked moderator Phil to judge this months competition. I am sure he will make a very good choice so keep those photos coming.
