Jens - found a few Leuctenbergia in flower in Mexico - problem I have is thousands of slides in no order - will try to find :shock:
Echinocactus and Ferocactus too..........

The poor Pterocactus grows in the wrong hemispere now :cry:

This contest really was fun to watch as it went on. There were so many winning pictures in it, that it is really near impossible to pick just one.

In the end I thought the Weingartia kargliana on Peters photo was the yellowest flower from summer.
Congradulations to all partcipants for those great picture entries.
