Itchy and Scratchy are always good standbys.

I know this is a bit irregular but I am going on holiday for a while, so I thought it would be easier to announce the winner today. It has been quiet this month on the photo front so I hope this does not offend anyone.
There have been some very good photos this month and it was quite a tricky decision, I was tempted by Chris L's 'Buds' but in the end I thought John Dos's photo of Lithops salicola bud was the best. There is great light and shadow over the plant and it is a good clear picture.

Sorry these are a bit late, I thought it meant buds in December so had to wait for the Huernia zebrina magniflora bud to grow to a decent size.....anyhow here goes.
