Taken in Fuerteventura in January, Caralluma burchardii
Also in Gran Canaria, in January, an unknown Aloe flowering its best
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.

Re: March 2015 - Lots of flowers
Now! Lots of flowers, indeed!
Please, go on posting! I don't mind if it gets difficult to select the best!
This white Trichodiamdema intonsum is superb - but have seen this old and great photograph from Huntington Garden already... And Caralluma burchardii is almost extinct now ... such a superb plant! So long I haven't seen one .

I apologise for so many pictures but I couldn't decide which one to post, something for everyone I hope.

A few to add
A rather tatty plant, flowers not large but quite a few of them
Some time ago there was a thread on the forum that explained how to tell a male hoverfly from a female, from the eyes. I can't find the thread, so not sure about this hoverfly.
Lost track of which Rebutia this is: An autumn flowering garden Sedum, this one's 'Coca Cola' Mike T

"Lots of flowers" seems like a description of Attila Kapitany's garden in Melbourne. These were taken there:

Re: March 2015 - Lots of flowers
I apologize for my late response, so sorry. But I'm happy that this time there are so many great photographs and plants to see and enjoy.
As I still feel 'new' among all bccs-experts, I'm not sure how to ponder photographic skills versus wow-effect and personal soft spots... like the great Caralluma I like so much, or the sheer orange colour explosion of Rebutia... and the envy I feel each and every time I see the squaremeters of flowers grown in botanical gardens ...
Finally I have chosen the in-focus stamina emerging from each of plenty Aloe ferox flowers as best photograph of march 2015. A joy for every bee!
Congratulations Mike T.!
