March is there and winter is leaving. First flowers everywhere.
So this will be the sujet for this month's photographs: Lots of flowers.
Aloe speciosa, Jardín Canario Viera y Clavijo, Gran Canaria.
Have a nice month!

Re: March 2015 - Lots of flowers
Took these crassula pictures recently, might try a different composition/wider lens to get even more flowers in the shot.

Re: March 2015 - Lots of flowers
I presume other years flowers qualify, since running a cold greenhouse I am too early for flowers yet and first buds are only just showing?

Hi Jim
Your photo of Crassula ovata is simply beautiful.
Any chance of also getting the second row in focus (i.e. as well as the first) if you're planning to re-shoot?

The "planned" re-shoot was intended to get more flowers in the picture by standing further away from the plantIainS wrote:Any chance of also getting the second row in focus (i.e. as well as the first) if you're planning to re-shoot?
Getting more of a single flower head in focus is not really possible with my setup, a 100mm lens 30cm from the subject only allows a few millimetres to be in acceptable focus.
It is possible to "cheat" by taking several pictures with a slightly different focal point then merging the in focus bits to make a picture with more in focus than is physically possible in a single shot.
