The May photo competition is for any succulent plant whose genus name or species name begins with an M.

Do they have to be flowering in May also?
Any Mammillaria will do, I guess, but this is a nice one: Not many "m" Lithops, so how about Muiria?

No; and my decision on the winner will not be influenced by flowers, although the winning photo might be of a plant in flower. We'll have to wait and see. I guess your Mammillaria photo is of Senilis, Ian.iann wrote:Do they have to be flowering in May also?

M is for ... Mammillaria Carminae
Bought a storage box in town and an awfully big sheet of tracing paper. Between myself, himself and a glue gun a light tent was born.
Here's the 1st photo from it, that fitted in with the months comp theme.

Sorry, just as I was uploading the photos, we had to leave in a hurry and I had no time to identify anything… I apologize!
