Hi,

I think summertime should mean cheerful yellow flowers, (like the summer sun we sometimes see) so here are two, very late entries.

Jim's 'special macro shot' made me smile the most, and Liz's Opuntia flower came into the reckoning with the combination of flower and spines, but the winner is Sheila's Parodia - a good display of flowers on a plant that I could easily find space for in my GH, the winner because it had most impact as a picture.

Over to you, Sheila

Hi,

Thank you Mike.

After a lot of thought I've decided to continue the bright summery theme for the next subject which is 'Flowers of Flame' (or it could be 'Foliage of Flame')- reds, yellows and orange - as bright and vivid as you can please.

Best wishes

Sheila
