November 2015 - Good growing 2015

Post by Sheila »

Hi,

The topic for November is 'Good growing 2015'.

Any plant that did well for you in 2015, plenty of flowers or perhaps it flowered for the first time, good growth, new offsets, did well in a show, anything at all.

I'm sure forum members must have plants they were pleased with during the course of the year. Here's your chance to show them off to others.

Best wishes,
Sheila

Seedlings have been growing here quite well this year after a shaky start. I also have managed to grown several varieties of moss and algae. Next year I am joining the British Bryological Society to try and grow some moss on purpose  :???: .
It is sure to be a disaster, and will help the cacti seeds no end.

Hi,

Well I seem to have won the award for the Monthly Photo Competition with the fewest entries. Thank you to the select few who did enter though.

The winner is Ray Woodbridge for his second picture of the beautiful white flower, a Selenicereus or something similar perhaps, I am not sure. Anyway it is a lovely photograph.

Best wishes,
Sheila
