Phil says I have to pick the subject this month. It is hard to find a new subject, but unless I missed it looking through the back list I don't think we have had Lophophora?

Interest rather than beauty. This Loph seedling suffered from rsm, and the growing point and whole top of the plant was scarred. The new growth occurred from deep inside the plant, not from an areole, bursting out of the scarred top. Rather like an Echinocereus flower bud or shoot. Or something from Alien. I have seen offsets form this way on undamaged Lophophoras, but don't have a photo of this happening.

Lophophora 'decipiens', probably just an invalid name for L. fricii but nevertheless very nice with the powder blue epidermis and pink flowers.

I've had a bit of a problem with mice recently, this Lophophora fricii was one of many plants that they nibbled.

I had a snail do the same thing Jim. Whether they get coloured dreams afterwards I do not know.

Dave tells me he's chosen jfabiao as his winner! Could you pick a topic for December?

Thank you, Dave. :D
How about "Happy families" - pictures of clusters of cacti or succulents?

I think you have to start it off as a New Topic Jfabiao = December "Happy Families"?
