A good idea Chris, but who would pick the subject for the next month's competition?Chris L wrote:If we had a like button the winner could be chosen by everyone, much like we do with our mini-shows at our branch.

I would expect the winner would still set the next month's topic, and have a casting vote if there was a tie in the number of likes.rodsmith wrote:A good idea Chris, but who would pick the subject for the next month's competition?Chris L wrote:If we had a like button the winner could be chosen by everyone, much like we do with our mini-shows at our branch.

Re: March 2017 - Something from your favourite genus
Thank you , Chris, for picking my picture. It was taken in Gran Canaria and I am very pleased that several people here have expressed their pleasure in it. The next subject is 'A Complementary Group'. Between three and seven plants grouped together which can be the same species or totally different. They should have eye appeal, whether by matching colour or variety of shapes or whatever you feel looks good.
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.
