Here is my contribution to May blossom, if it loads.
Nothing loaded. None of the files gave me the option to upload pictures and one had a yellow triangle in the status column, the others nothing there.

Keep trying Liz and hopefully you'll get the pictures uploaded by the end of the month, if you've got the time  .

I spent most of last night trying to sort this out, I have taken all restrictions off (that I can find) and added new resizing software.

It seems to be a total pixel count restriction rather than a diamension or file size, you should be ok if you keep below 2250000, if you are on windows the easiest way to do this is to us this

http://www.bricelam.net/ImageResizer/

We have a meeting about the next stage of the new site build on Saturday another step closer getting rid of this software.

This has always been a problem, what I did see was the size, both physical and pixel count, of my pictures changing. Today it seems to be displaying my pictures correctly but showing wrong file size!

This morning I have managed to load a 2400x1350 file which seems to be behaving - last night clicking on any pictures in this part of the forum only showed images 700 pixel wide then it changed to displaying "normal" pictures

Just checked file sizes on this mornings upload by editing post and looking at attachments and file sizes have changed

I'll try uploading one. Here is a picture of a Mammillaria senilis with dark red flowers rather than the more usual (in my experience) scarlet ones:

I will resize my pictures but they are not large files, which is so puzzling.

The yellow triangle can be an indication of too many pixels, by applying maximum compression (ie low quality) I know I can make small sized files that appear to upload but there is no place inline button. I have found that by reducing the pixel count to 1920 on longest side I can always add pictures but this area is misbehaving so sometimes my 1920 pixels have become 700.

These worked but they are tiny files. I have never loaded such small ones.

Today's blossom is a Crassula arborescens, unfortunately the stem with the flowers is bending over as it has decided to die lower down just above some new leaves,
