My Pelecyphora Aselliformis in full bloom :)
P.S. does anyone know if seed pods forming are on the older flowers or is that just old flower remains?

It came with a collection number GK078, anyone know what that is?

I suspect the seed pods will emerge from inside the plant about a year after pollination, as with Ariocarpus. Even if this is not the case, I am still rather certain this is a dried out flower. Not a fruit.

Lots of interesting photos to judge this time. Those who came close were Liz M with her Gasteria glomerata (4 May), Jim Mercer with his Epithelantha micromeris (11 May), jfabiao with the Mammillaria guelzowiana (11 May) and Sheila with her Echinocereus fendleri rectispinus (19 May). The winner, however, with the clarity of the photo and the way the definition of the petals has been captured, is Chris L for his Echinonfossulocactus ochoterenaus (21 May). Over to you for the June topic Chris.
