The topic for December is NOW Rebutias, NOT as below ....
The topic for December is any Mesembryanthemaceae (or Aizoaceae if you prefer). Hopefully lots of scope there.
Some to start the theme off:
- could be in the greenhouse
- Titanopsis
- or in habitat
- Cheiridopsis
- Conophytum pellucidum

This was the subject of the October 2017 competition!!
You need to check previous subjects. It's probably ok to re-use a subject after a few years, but not after two months.

Oops. Thanks, Rod. A simple check on recent topics would have been a rather obvious good idea.
Plan B it is then: December's topic is Rebutias, not their best time of year in the Northern hemisphere, but they may still be flowering in habitat now. Any Rebutias, flowers or not. Some starters:
- albiflora x heliosa

Whose concept of Rebutia The traditional morphological one, Rebutia, Aylostera, Digitorebutia etc. The New Cactus Lexicon all embracing one (including Sulcorebutia etc) or modem DNA Classifications excluding Aylostera etc?
This is the only Rebutia sensu stricto I can find at the moment, plenty of Aylostera's though.
Rebutia violaciflora

The 3 examples I put as starters include Aylostera and Sulcorebutia, so NCL it then...

An Aylostera and a few Sulcorebutia's since nobody seems to be posting.
Aylostera rosalbiflora (a pig to photograph due to it's unusual very delicate flower colour being affected by the lighting it is under. They seem to vary in the intensity of the pink in the flower, mine seems paler than most.)
Sulcorebutria steinbachii ssp. clizensis.
Sulcorebutia verticillacantha.
Sulcorebutia tiraquensis ssp. electracantha.
