April 2018 - Mammillarias

Post by MikeT »

Surprisingly, it seems that Mammillaria hasn't been chosen previously as a topic, so that's the April competition. It could be spines
2012_03_13_5352.JPG
or flowers
DSCF0418.JPG
DSCF0029.JPG
or a bit of both
Mamm rek lep2.JPG
or anything else Mammillaria.
So what Mamm photos do you have?

None in flower at the moment, so it will have to be old ones as space fillers to get it started.

These photos were taken on April 2nd 2014, so almost exactly 4 years ago, and demonstrate how far advanced they were compared to this year. They are only just showing buds this year and haven't yet been watered, very late in comparison!

I have never managed such rings of flowers on any of my Mamms...

Mainly cacti, with a preference for Mexican ones, but I'm flexible!
