It is really worth a look, even if it is filled with spiky things.

You've met Mrs T then, Liz?

But she doesn't go into the greenhouse!

Thanks for a great afternoon yesterday Peter! As good as the photo's look on here it really doesn't do your collection justice! Its that good!! There were lots of plants I'd never seen in the flesh before and to see some species which I have at home in a 9cm pot majestically posing on your bench in a 30cm bowl was amazing  Jo and Mrs T seemed to have a good old chin wag and it was nice we had the weather to sit outside in your lovely garden. Anytime your a little further north we'd love to repay the hospitality if you'd like to pop in anytime you'd be most welcome

Anyway - to anyone who hasn't paid Peter a visit yet...get it sorted out!!

On Monday last my wife and I paid our third visit to Peter/Tina's home where once again we were made very welcome. The plants I purchased were of excellent quality. If you are looking for rare and quality plants this is a must visit and see for your selves you won't be disappointed.

Thank you Peter for a most enjoyable and informative morning. The cup of tea supplied by your wife, Mrs T, only enhanced the pleasure of sitting in your lovely garden. Your collection is exceptional and I did enjoy seeing all the different varieties.
Once again thank Peter and if anyone has the time I can highly recommend a visit.

After a massive clearout - sold, donated, scrapped - of my overfull greenhouse, my greenhouse is now......still overfull. However, nearly all the plants have been repotted/potted on. interesting to see the growth since my original posting on this thread. If you look closely, you may spot some Copiapoas trying to hide.

A superb collection Peter, and all in marvellous condition. As you say, they have grown well since your original post. Thanks for the update.

I'm glad that your ruthlessness has been a success! The plants on the left of the gh in particular look like they're rewarding your extra care.

I am in awe

Is the taller plant on the right of the second photo down a saguaro?

It's a common Pachycereus pringlei. I do have a saguaro (Carnegia gigantea) but the rate of growth is so slow that I wouldn't recommend that anybody should give one room in the greenhouse.
