Jude's greenhouse

Post by Jude »

Here are some photos taken yesterday. Everything still looks very much in winter mode.
I took the pictures, but I'm not very techy, so my partner Rob did the processing.

The scarecrow was a present from my neighbour. Looks like she thinks I need all the help I can get

Quite a lot packed in there  Lovely plants and I do like the way you have grown the Lithops - all in a seed tray. Will they stay in there as they get older? Thank you for sharing

Sue - most of the plants in seed trays will eventually get their own pot. Lithops will probably be three or five to a pot, maybe more. It's the usual story - not enough time & not enough space.

I like to grow Auricula as well as C&S. Through the winter I always need to find a bit of room for them in the g-house. They cope with low temperatures, but struggle a bit with all the rain. Likewise the Pelargoniums, Fuschia etc......

Thank you for the pictures Jude - I like the phrase 'cactaddict' too, it makes a change from 'cactaholic'.

Love those beautiful fat Lithops!

NB. Anyone failing to provide a sensible name for me to address them will be called, or referred to, as Fred.
